Nothing like making a friend to put a smile on your dial…

Brenda is one of the funniest, wittiest, cleverest bloggers on the internets.  And today, after months of chatting and a couple of weeks of planning, we met up and had lunch together.

And we laughed and cried.  Seriously!  And made plans to take over the world together!  (Well, maybe not so much of the last bit, but HEAPS of the laughing and a tiny bit of the crying.)

And I feel as though I have made a lovely new friend.

Wow, I feel like I was *just* commenting on this picture somewhere else… Funny that. You two are adorable. I’m glad you got to meet. I’m going to the UK in June and will be meeting up with a couple of my new bloggy friends there, and planning a return trip to Oz in 2011. All is good.

I’m so glad the two of you got together and that a couple of someones, *finally* are taking it upon themselves to fix this old broken world of ours. Dominate away!

    Hi

I saw your pics with Brenda… It is really amazing how we find good friends on the internet that has maintained a very bad reputation… Congrats on making a new friend…

I love that the interweb can flow from cyber to reality. I met up with an internet buddy a month or so back, it was wonderful.

I think we get to know each other well on the web, and so when you are face to face it is the same as catching up with that old school mate after a decade of phone chats.

Now, when can I fly to Sydney… Hmm.
