Not quite thirteen…

… but most definitely a teenager.

Toto’s voice has dropped, he’s now taller than me (175cm), and he has attitude coming out of every pore on his body.

The change is SO drastic and sudden, that this video by Harry Enfield, which has made me laugh so hard I’ve almost peed my pants in the past, almost made me cry today…

Well, Rhubarb is 13 (nearly 14 now actually) and despite the fact that all of Kevin’s dialogue could have been his he has not undergone the physical changes yet really. His dad says it was later for him (more like 15) but poor Rhu is a bit bothered by the fact that he’s shorter than all of his friends and his voice hasn’t changed. There are times (alright, some time each day probably) when I want to throttle him for all of his teenage moodiness and gift for being as difficult as possible but I did laugh at that video and you’ll be able to soon as well. Most days there is still a good amount of time when I can actually enjoy his company. Mostly.

Fabulously funny video… but then again I only have a pre-schooler.

I honestly cannot picture Toto being a HORRID teenager, though I am sure he will be more than capable of the boy teen monosyllabic conversations :(

    Hugs sweetie xoxox

I am laughing at that video without even having to watch it. As a huge Harry Endfield fan I know that character well.
What a tall boy he is! I wonder how tall he’ll end up.
My nine year old is nearly up to my shoulder. I wonder how many years it will take before I am the shortest person in the house??
